Gilgen SL35 PAS:24 Security Door

The SL35-PAS:24 automatic security door is ideal for keeping your business premises and staff safe. Manufactured in the UK at our Afreton facility, the SL35-PAS 24 can be easily integrated with existing security systems on installation by our engineers. This could include alarms, CCTV, keycard readers or lighting to provide increased protection.

Operation

Automatic Operator:

On board microprocessor controller which allows choice options for opening width, electric locking, summer/ winter modes, exit only, manual control, speed of opening and the length of time the door remains open
Door operator is Independently tested by LPCB to PAS24:2016 standard. Approved by Secured by Design
Door operator height 140mm, depth 205mm
Maximum door leaf weight of 150kg

Door activation and control system per doorset:

Security door features a key switch with 6 positions that can be activated manually. Configured for off, automatic, night, exit only and hold open operating modes.

Configuration

Safety devices on each door:

1no. Battery Pack that allows security door to be opened or closed in the event of a power failure
Can be configured to enable up to 30 minutes operation (subject to use) in the event of a mains power failure. This fail safe system is automatically tested at least once every 24 hours and will alert the user if the failsafe is not operational.
Full door height glass pocket protection screens making them resistant to tampering or damage.

Security door locking:

The SL35 PAS:24 security door features an electromechanical in-head lock running-carriage locking device that reliably prevents the door leaves from sliding open
A built-in gear motor guarantees a high locking/unlocking force, tested to over 500,000 operating cycles for your peace of mind
Features automatic multipoint locking FLUVERI. The locking and unlocking is automatically achieved via the locking motor integrated in the door leaf.
By means of a freewheel cylinder, the locking mechanism can be manually operated with a key, from inside and outside. The locked door can also be unlocked and opened from the inside using the manual unlocking lever available as an option.

Formed from Gilgen PSXP aluminium profiles with vertical interlocking and sealing gaskets. Slim 40mm vertical profiles with 70mm bottom rail
Doors main closing edge is based on the “tongue and groove” principle
Glazing includes insulated laminated safety glass to a minimum standard of P1A9, complying with EN 356

Side screens:

Pocket Protection screens:

Associated works Per Door Set:

1 no. 240v 13A LIVE neon lit fused spur supply, protected by a 30mA RCD must be provided prior to installation. In compliance with BS EN16005 the mains connection must be capable of disconnection to safeguard against unintentional and unauthorised reactivation. Positioned above operator by others.
Connection to the fire alarm system (if required) would require one pair of normally open volt free contacts to be supplied terminating at drive unit location by others.
